Big things are happening in California dance! With the dance teaching credential and Prop 28 in place, there are more resources and funding to help dance and arts grow in schools. You can ensure money is spent towards dance by joining an Arts Now community! Create CA’s Arts Now Communities Program is a statewide network of arts education advocates who participate in leadership training, learn community-building strategies, and receive communications support and stipends (ranging from $1,500 to $2,000 annually) to help local coalitions advocate effectively for public dollars for arts education in their counties/districts.
