Applications due April 4th

Offered annually as a yearlong experience, Summer Institute (SI) supports dance teaching artists and classroom teachers to activate and inspire individual and collective imaginations. Learning in a collegial group of diverse educators, SI participants improve teaching practice, gain confidence as professionals and develop long-lasting systems of support.

The SI experience includes a five-day summer intensive, a midyear weekend seminar, individualized coaching, peer exchanges and a final Gallery Walk. Funded in part by The National Endowment for the Arts, this program is offered at no cost to 12 individuals through a competitive application process.
